Origami Garden Lamp
This Lamp while owning a substantial space is not intrusive, on to contrary, it is both
transparent and inviting. The cubes seem to float as it occupies the space with hanging leaves
that dance around the room while the lights play on. The pureness of it’s light washes over the
emotions, bathing you in a very flattering light.
The sky’s the limit for this Origami Lamp to occupy any of your rooms. Great addition to a ample dinning room, above a kitchen island table, or as a light sculpture in any generous space.
Design Notes:
This horizontal choreography of translucent milky glass cubes
framed in iron, hanging from two adjustable poles, accented
with a leaf motif emulating Japanese artistry and restraint will
illuminate any of your favorite spaces. Powered thru a dimmer
it will allow you to set the correct mood, from kitchen work area bright
to dancing in the dark softness.
Construction Notes:
Given the purposeful simplicity of the square of its component cubes can lead observers to think manufacturing the piece was Erector Set simple. However, on closer inspection, one discovers the joints between the vertical and horizontal frames are imperceptible to both the eye and to sense of touch which, to the knowledgeable, are found only in masterful forge work. .
